Ugh, Locked Out!

turned the doorknob repeatedly, but it wouldn't budge. "{Darn it!", I exclaimed. Stuck outside my own house – what a fantastic situation! My keys are definitely lost somewhere, and I have {no{ clue how to get back in. This is going to be a painful day.

I check my phone - no signal. I'm miles/far/away from anywhere, with no indication/little hope/slim chance of help arriving anytime soon. My options are limited/scarce/nonexistent. I can only wait/sit and endure/pray for a miracle.

My breath fogs/steams/condenses the inside of the car. It's getting cold/chilly/uncomfortably cool. The engine is quietly humming/steadily running/making a soft growl, a constant reminder of my confinement/imprisonment/entrapment. The radio plays static/mumbles faintly/is silent.

Missing Car Keys

Ugh, this is the strangest day ever. I just looked my pockets like a hundred times and my key fob are vanished. I've scoured the house, but they're just not here.

My brain is going crazy trying to remember where I could have possibly left them. Did I take them outside? Maybe I even dropped them.

I'm starting to feel like a character in one of those absurd movies where everything goes wrong. This is i locked my keys in the trunk just terrible. I'm so frustrated about it, I could just scream.
